* Strength in Numbers: Through 30 games, JHU has displayed its depth as 25 players have seen action in the field and 12 pitchers have taken the mound. Twenty-two players have tallied at least one hit, while 23 players have scored a run and 21 players have at least one RBI. The top four teams in the CC at the end of the regular season qualify with the tournament scheduled for Friday, May 3 to Sunday, May 5.
* Power Surge: With 10 home runs this past week, including six in a 14-5 win over Villa Julie, the Blue Jays now have 50 for the year to break the school-record of 45 set by the 1998 team. Sophomore Mike Stankus hit a three-run shot off the scoreboard against Villa Julie for the record-breaking homer. If JHU keeps the pace of 1.66 home runs per game through the 40-game schedule, Hopkins would finish the regular season with 66 homers. Seventeen players have hit a home run, while 11 players have three or more homers. Senior John Krivonak and freshman Paul Winterling each hit their first career home runs in JHU's 20-2 win over Dickinson last week.

Last season, the Blue Jays averaged 7.02 runs per game for a total of 330 runs.
* Sineath Approaches School Records: Senior second baseman Karl Sineath leads Hopkins with 32 runs scored and 16 stolen bases to move closer to the school career marks in both categories. Rosenberg is also third at Hopkins in career winning percentage (.888, 24-3) and has won his last 13 decisions dating back to last season.
