BALTIMORE, MD -

Senior Dave Fioretti of the Johns Hopkins baseball team sat down with HopkinsSports.com amongst the frequent postponements to chat about his time at Johns Hopkins and his team this season.

The Huntington, NY native leads the pitching staff in strikeouts this season and threw the first complete game of the season against McDaniel on March 31.

Fioretti was injured in the bullpen prior to his first career start during his sophomore year and is at full strength this season for JHU. With one year of eligibility left from the injury, Fioretti has explored the option of heading to graduate school. He plans to return to New York after he has exhausted his athletic eligibility.

The senior is a computer science major with a minor in business. A technology enthusiast, Fioretti participate in plenty of extra-curriculars outside of the baseball diamond. Here’s what Fioretti had to say to HopkinsSports.com!
