Baltimore, MD -
The Johns Hopkins baseball team's doubleheader scheduled for Saturday at Swarthmore has been postponed due to inclement weather.
The doubleheader is scheduled for Sunday at 1 p.m., although the forecast in Swarthmore is not promising. The Blue Jays' game scheduled for Sunday at Elizabethtown could be played Monday in Lancaster, while the Dickinson game that was rained out Friday will most likely be made up later in the season.
Hopkins, which is ranked No. 1 in this week's ABCA/Collegiate Baseball poll, is 19-0 overall and 5-0 in the Centennial Conference this season. Senior Rob Morrison (Malibu, CA/Loyola) is batting a team-best .458 this season, while senior Tim Casale (West Hempstead, NY/Chaminade) is hitting .455 while leading the Blue Jays with 25 hits and 18 runs scored.
Senior Jeremy Brown (Baltimore, MD/McDonogh) leads the Hopkins pitching staff with a 4-0 record and a 1.41 earned run average, while senior Matt Righter (Clarion, PA/Lawrenceville Prep) is 2-0 with a 0.82 ERA.
