March 31, 2009

BALTIMORE, MD - Senior Ryan Biner of the Johns Hopkins baseball team took advantage of the rainouts this weekend to sit down with HopkinsSports.com to talk about himself and his team this season.

Biner is the starting first baseman for the Blue Jays and owns the third-best batting average on the team (.412). The Crystal Lake, IL native has collected 21 hits this season, including three home runs. Biner has 18 RBI, good enough for second on the sqaud.

Biner, a dean's list student majoring in sociology, missed half of the 2008 season with an ACL injury, but returned in 2009 to take over the starting role at first base.
