LANCASTER, PA - Johns Hopkins senior catcher Rob Sanzillo (Katonah, NY/Somers) was named the Centennial Conference Baseball Co-Player of the Week on Monday. Sanzillo shares player of the week honors with Ben Carey of Gettysburg while Ryan Smith of Ursinus was named the pitcher of the week.

Sanzillo had a big day at the plate for the Blue Jays vs. Rutgers-Newark on Sunday. In game-one of the double-header, he was 2-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored. Sanzillo also had a double and stolen base in that game. In game-two of the double-header, he went 2-for-2 with two RBIs and three runs scored. Sanzillo hit his second home run of the year in that game and later added a walk and a stolen base. For the day, Sanzillo hit .800 and improved his season average to .441.

Sanzillo and the Blue Jays are back in action on Monday, March 26th when they host York College at 3:30 p.m. Hopkins opens it Centennial Conference schedule on Tuesday, March 27th at McDaniel College at 3:30 p.m.
