LANCASTER, PA - Johns Hopkins senior Jeremy Brown (Baltimore, MD/McDonogh School) was named Centennial Pitcher-of-the-Week and sophomore Paul Winterling (Glenelg, MD/McDonogh School) earned Centennial Player-of-the-Week honors, the league announced Monday.

In his first start of the season, Brown pitched a seven-inning no-hitter in the Blue Jays' 9-0 win over No. 19 Lakeland College. He struck out 12 and walked just one batter to record the sixth no-hitter in school history and the first since three Blue Jays combined on a no-hitter in a 9-0 win against Franklin & Marshall in seven innings on April 7, 2001.

Winterling started six of JHU's first nine games and batted .478 (11-for-23) with 10 runs scored, three home runs, 12 runs batted in and four stolen bases. He smacked a three-run double in a 16-3 win over William Penn before going 4-for-5 with four runs, two home runs and five RBIs in a 15-12 win over No. 5 Wooster. Winterling was also 3-for-4 with three runs, a two-run home run and two stolen bases in a 9-5 victory against St. Joseph's College.

Hopkins, which finished 8-1 during its nine-game Florida trip, returns to action Tuesday as the Blue Jays open their home schedule against Widener at 3:00 p.m.
