Bobby Laffey returns to the Hopkins staff for his third season in 2009. He will work with catchers, hitters and assist with the Blue Jay JV team.
Laffey is a 2003 graduate of McDaniel College who spent his playing days as a catcher for the Green Terror. He was a three-year starter earning All-Centennial honors as a senior.
Laffey has previously coached at the high school level in both Pennsylvania and Maryland. His stops include Bel Air High School, where he is currently a teacher. Laffey will help Coach Cox work with the catchers.
Laffey is currently pursuing his masters in special education at Johns Hopkins and resides in Bel Air with his wife, Sara.
