Johns Hopkins alumnus Dave Brackett enters his sixth season as an assistant coach with the Johns Hopkins baseball team.
Brackett, who graduated from Hopkins in the spring of 2003, is in charge of field maintainence and preparation. Additionally, he works with the Blue Jay outfielders, throws batting practice and helps with defensive strategy.
Brackett, a teacher at the Lab School in Baltimore, is currently pursuing his master's degree in education adminstration from Johns Hopkins. Once again in 2006, he will serve as the team's junior varsity coach.
