Robert H. Scott Tribute Video | Donate to the Robert H. Scott Recognition Fund
BALTIMORE, MD - On October 15, 2016 nearly 1,000 alumni, parents, and friends gathered in Goldfarb Gymnasium to remember the life of Robert H. Scott. Following the ceremony, a statue was unveiled at Homewood Field in his honor.
For more than 60 years, “Scotty” has been the face of Johns Hopkins athletics. Moving forward, students, faculty, staff, alumni and fans will be greeted by the statue of his likeness as they visit the hallowed ground of Homewood Field.
In addition, after the the ceremony, a tribute video in honor of Mr. Scott was commissioned and recently completed. The piece, which includes testmonials from former players, current staff and others, can be found here.
Individuals interested in making a donation to the Robert H. Scott Recognition Fund may do so here.
On behalf of Hopkins Athletics, special thanks again to the more than 250 individuals who have already made gifts in honor of Coach Scott to make the statue a reality.
