Mission Statement
The Johns Hopkins University Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is a student run organization that serves as the voice of over 700 varsity student athletes.  Our purpose is fourfold:
1.) to provide insight and feed back to the athletic department, centennial conference, and NCAA regarding the student athlete experience;
2.) to improve visibility and school spirit;
3.) to promote and provide opportunities for service and community involvement;
4.) to increase programming for student-athletes

Johns Hopkins University Mentoring Program (JUMP)
SAAC has teamed up with a local Baltimore City Charter School, Afya, to help promote education and health.  Students from Afya come to JHU on a monthly basis for mentoring sessions, to play games, and to learn about a sport and college.  JUMP fills a void in the student athlete experience and affords student athletes the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the community. Through the partnership with Afya, JUMP enables the Hopkins athletes to affect positives change in Baltimore by mentoring, developing friendships and playing sports with sports with inner city youth.

Goldfarb Gang
Student based organization that was created by the Hopkins Football team to help increase school spirit at Men’s and Women’s Basketball games. It’s a rowdy bunch that dresses in costume to help cheer on Hopkins hoops to victories.  Like the gang on Facebook and learn about upcoming events and games!
