Sept. 30, 2014 Check Out the New Johns Hopkins Live Video/Live Statistics Portal Here BALTIMORE, MD - The Johns Hopkins Department of Athletics has signed a three-year agreement with Stretch Internet for all live video streaming and live statistics. Previously, Johns Hopkins has offered live video and live statistics through its partnership with CBS Interactive, which maintains the school's official athletics web site (www.HopkinsSports.com). The Johns Hopkins-CBS partnership remains intact for all other content on HopkinsSports.com.
The first Johns Hopkins athletic event to be streamed live through the new partnership with Stretch Internet will be the men's soccer game between the host Blue Jays and visiting Gettysburg on Wednesday, October 1 (7 pm). Fans will be able to access the live stream and live statistics via the official portal Stretch has developed for Johns Hopkins (http://portal.stretchinternet.com/jhu/).
About the Live Video
Fans will be treated to a variety of viewing options when watching a Blue Jay athletic event through Stretch Internet. In addition to an HD broadcast for events streamed from Homewood Field, fans will have multiple screen layouts to choose from (including full screen) and all broadcasts will include a DVR function that allows for review of plays or the ability to join a broadcast in progress from any point desired.
Which Sports Will Have Live Video
Live video will be provided for the following sports: football, men's soccer, women's soccer, field hockey, volleyball, water polo, men's basketball, women's basketball, men's swimming, women's swimming, wrestling, women's lacrosse and baseball. Please note that there may be instances were a game in a particular sports will not be available.
Why No Live Video for Men's Lacrosse
The Johns Hopkins men's lacrosse team has a contract with ESPNU. All Blue Jay home games are broadcast on ESPNU or WatchESPN. ESPN owns the television and internet video rights to all Johns Hopkins home men's lacrosse games. In addition, two Johns Hopkins women's lacrosse games air on ESPNU each year. Johns Hopkins will not provide live video for those two games.

About the Live Stats
Stretch Internet recently launched a completely new live stats interface with even more extensive options. Viewers can still choose to watch a live feed while tracking the updated game situation and stats - but now, they can also choose to experience a rich, full-portal stats presentation, complete with team stats comparisons, trends, box scores and more.

The Live Video/Live Stats portal will include an interactive area for fans to engage with each other via twitter during the live video broadcasts. The live video, live stats and interactive chat can all be viewed simultaneously if desired.

Multiview - Centennial Conference Events
Johns Hopkins will be the 10th Centennial Conference school to partner with Stretch Internet. One of the great features for fans in the league is the ability to watch multiple games at once via the same portal. Tune in to the Johns Hopkins game of choice in the main window and pull in smaller windows of other Centennial Conference games to keep track of at the same time.
