-- Marcello Falls, 2-1, in 141-Pound Wrestling National Title Match --

Johns Hopkins senior 141-pounder Paul Marcellohad his magical run at the NCAA Division III Wrestling Championships come to an end in the national title match as he dropped a tough 2-1 decision to third-seeded Adam Sheley in the finals. With the loss, Marcello's season ends with a 29-9 record and he is the first national finalist in school history. He is also just the fourth wrestler in Centennial Conference history to advance to the national championship match in any weight class. Click here for the full story.

-- Cermack, DiMartino Lead Women's Lacrosse to 16-6 win over George Washington --

Junior Sammy Cermack and freshman Dene' DiMartino each tallied a hat trick to lead Johns Hopkins to a 16-6 win over visiting George Washington Saturday afternoon at Homewood Field. The Blue Jays end their two-game skid and improve to 5-2 on the season. Click here for the full story.

-- Baseball Takes Three-of-Four to Open Florida Trip --

The Johns Hopkins baseball defeated St. Joseph's (LI) and Edgewood, before splitting a double-header with Pitt-Bradford to begin its Flordia road trip 3-1. Freshman Carter Burns was spectacular in his collegiate debut as a starter, holding Edgewood to just one run in nine innings of work. The Jays have six games remaining in Florida. -- Syracuse Surges Past Johns Hopkins,13-8 --

Host Syracuse used a 6-0 run in the first quarter and a game-ending 5-1 run to fuel a 13-8 victory over visiting Johns Hopkins in men's lacrosse action at the Carrier Dome Saturday afternoon. The Orange trailed for just over two minutes early in the game and then took control before holding off a Blue Jay rally that trimmed the five-goal deficit to one early in the third quarter.
