-- Women's Tennis Takes ITA National Indoor Crown --

The fifth-seeded Johns Hopkins women's tennis team rallied from a 4-2 deficit to defeat second-seeded Carnegie Mellon 5-4 and win the 2013 ITA Division III National Team Indoor Championship Sunday afternoon. Eleventh-ranked Hopkins, which had not finished higher than seventh in its two previous trips to the Indoor Championship, defeated the third, fifth and 10th-ranked teams in the nation en route to the title. -- Baseball Opens Season with Three Victories --

Junior Mike Denlinger went 5-for-6 with four RBIs on the weekend to lead the Johns Hopkins baseball team to a defeat of Messiah Friday and a two-game sweep of Oneonta State Sunday. The Blue Jays defeated Oneonta in game one on a dramatic walk-off single by freshman Kyle Metzger in the bottom of the ninth. Click here for the Messiah story and here for the Oneonta State story.

-- Men's Fencing Wins 26th MAFCA Title --

Johns Hopkins picked up its record 26th MAFCA crown Sunday in College Park, MD. It was the first title for the Blue Jays since 2008, which had not competed in the event since 2009. Freshman John Petrie won the individual title in the foil, becoming the first Hopkins rookie to win a crown since 2001.

-- Marcello Claims NCAA Regional Crown to Qualify for NCAA Wrestling Championships --

Johns Hopkins senior Paul Marcello won the 141-pound title at the NCAA East Regional Wrestling Championships at Gettysburg College on Saturday to qualify for the upcoming NCAA Division III Wrestling Championships for the fourth consecutive year. Marcello will be joined at the NCAAs by teammate Paul Bewak, who placed third at 125 to earn a bid as well. Click here for the full story.

-- Frick, Women's DMR Set Records in Last Chance Track & Field Meets --

Senior James Frick broke the program record in the mile run, while the women's distance medley relay team set a Centennial Conference record as the Johns Hopkins men's and women's track & field teams competed at various meets over the weekend. Click here for the full story.

-- Late Surge Powers Princeton Past Men's Lacrosse, 11-8 --

The 12th-ranked Princeton men's lacrosse team outscored host and third-ranked Johns Hopkins 5-1 over the final 21 minutes of the game as the Tigers slipped past the Blue Jays, 11-8, at Homewood Field Friday evening. The win, Princeton's third straight at Homewood Field, improves the Tigers' record to 2-0, while the Blue Jays slip to 3-1 with the loss. Click here for the full story.
