We will be entering our seventh season with the establishment of the Touchdown Club. This exclusive membership group is made up of our most loyal supporters. We had more than 60 alumni, parents and fans directly impact the football program through the support of the Touchdown Club last season.
We are all proud of the history behind Hopkins Football, and each of us understands the need to continue this rich tradition. HOPKINS TOUCHDOWN CLUB
As part of the tradition that is Hopkins Football, the Touchdown Club was founded in 2007 to support the Johns Hopkins University Football Program. Members annually contribute $100 per victory earned during the season, which includes playoffs, or at a higher level. Membership in the club is managed on an annual basis.
The resources collected from the Touchdown Club allow the coaching staff the opportunity to enhance the experience for the football student-athletes. By supporting the Blue Jays, your generous donation will afford the Hopkins Football program the opportunity to continue to operate in a first-class manner, while setting new academic and athletic standards. Each gift is tax-deductible and is restricted for use by the Football program.
You may join the club at any point before or during the season, but the expectation would include fulfilling any wins that may have already been achieved. An initial first gift of $100 secures your spot within the group. The first gift is 'credit' toward the first win of the season. Commitments may be made via check, cash or credit card.
Membership accounts may be balanced either following each game, or following the season. The Athletics Development office will keep you apprised of your balance and will process all gifts.
DOES ONE HAVE TO COMMIT $100 PER WIN IN ORDER TO BE PART OF THE HOPKINS TOUCHDOWN CLUB?
Every gift of support is important to the football program, but in this situation, yes, members of the Touchdown Club must give at the $100 per win level or at a higher level. Gifts for football are accepted at all levels, but members only receive full recognition and benefits with the complete commitment.
